Nikon D50 question

I've been reading the "Nikon D50 Field Guide" by David Busch. In it he says to check your depth of field with the depth of field preview button. I have no clue where this button is. Any D50 users out there that can help me on this?

The D50 doesn't have one - Nikons further up the food chain do, but not the D50...bad one for Mr Busch...
