I am wondering where Sony is now on the full frame DSLR given that I have been a long time user of Minolta products and own a Konica Minolta 7D. I have numerous lenses and want to make sure they are compatible before I upgrade. I have not stayed in touch with gear to know what they have now or expect to offer. I would also want it to be at least 10 MP. and be typical of other DSLR cameras.

They've announced a new full frame camera but it is not yet on the market. Here's some info from it's announcement at PMA (http://www.dpreview.com/news/0801/08013109sonypma.asp) earlier this year. Oh, and they're putting a 24 MP sensor in it so I think you're covered there :). Don't expect it to be cheap.

You shouldn't have to pay for a full frame camera for all of your old lenses to work though. They should be compatible with Sony's other DSLR's (APS size sensors), you'll just get a different field of view than what you're used to with 35mm.
