After a post by fiuOY asking about how to recreate the effect (http://digital-photography-school.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1648) that was used in the movie 300, I started having a look around. I only came across one tutorial that gave the basics of using the "300 Style" on your Photographs (http://www.photocritic.org/2007/300-style-photography/). But it got me thinking about using post-processing to give your photos a similar effect to that seen in some of the graphically pretty movies :p
A while ago I made a post about turning your photos into "comic" art (http://digital-photography-school.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1540). So, now, here's a few links on how to make your photos look like various movies:
300 Style (http://www.photocritic.org/2007/300-style-photography/)
How to turn your photo into a movie-like effect using photoshop (http://ebin.wordpress.com/2007/03/21/how-to-turn-your-photo-into-movie-like-effect-using-photoshop/)
Sin City (Movie) effect: Different from the graphic novel effect (http://www.dphclub.com/tutorials/sincity.htm)I'm sure there are other movies out there that feature interesting special effects that people might want to use on their photos, but I don't know what they are :p So... if you know some other "movie style" tutorials or you want to show off what you've tried from these, feel free to post them here :)
