This is my first attempt at an HDR shot. I took three exposures, -2, 0, +2. I used ISO 100, 30mm, f/11. I tried a few different settings, and liked this the best out of them. The low saturation gives it a bit of a gloomy feel to it.
There was an area that was a bit blown out, but I was able to improve it a little after making the HDR.
Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT
Aperture: f/10.95201
Focal Length: 30 mm
ISO Speed: 100

How did you do the HDR? Photomatix?
Very dramatic sky.

The sky is beautiful... hate to sound like a broken record, but what software did you use?

Nice shot, was single or multiple HDR? i m going to be whiner and complain about the halo around the brigde which kinda bothers me, but apart from that it looks really nice :)

Thanks!
I used Photomatix for the HDR, then adjusted the blown out spot in Photoshop.
I'm not sure how to get rid of the halo around the bridge, but I'll play with the settings a bit more.

Its quite hard not to get those halos, i gues some blurring and whot not could help out in photoshop with a layer mask to paint in in some certain spots.. I dont really knw how to get rid of those halo's. But i will sure look into it and try to get back with a reply. I have tried other ways of creating a HDR look which has sucsseded into no halos here area few exampels:

I would spend a little more time on the sky a simple curve adjustment then some masking will help turn the clouds white instead of gray which they are currently. I think other then that you did a really good job the bricks on the bridge look excellent.

I do like the textures of the bridge and sky, but the light halo around the bridge is distracting, like the others said. It's a great shot though--beautiful angle, also.

The composition is very nice, but I instantly recognized it as a HDR image. There is something artificial and flat about it even though the bridge itself shows some depth. You should probably convert it to BW and tweak it a little. Work with the shadows around the stones and clouds.
Also see what local contrast can do to the image.

Didnt think of that, this might work really well in BW as stated, is it okay if i give it a go myself?

Absolutely! No problem.

I would use the levels adjustment on photoshop to bring out the dark a little more. I would also mess with the clouds on the right, they look really fake
