There are heaps of tutorials out there on things you can do with your photos to make them imitate other sorts of work... Here are 3 to make your photos look like comics or graphic novels that I like:

Imitating A Scanner Darkly (http://www.illustratortechniques.com/imitating-a-scanner-darkly.html) (See Wulf's A Bassist Darkly (http://digital-photography-school.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1029) as well)
The Frank Miller / Sin City Effect (http://www.macmerc.com/articles/Graphics_Tips/392)
Comic Art Effect (http://www.macmerc.com/articles/Graphics_Tips/309)Feel free to post up your own examples if you've tried any of these techniques. I think it's a kind of fun thing, and I've got to try to find a picture to use the Sin City Effect on cause that just looks neat ;)

(I'll post these links in the Big List (http://digital-photography-school.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1521), but thought I'd start a new thread for anyone who wants to try these techniques) :)
