Taken in Luxembourg City from a small road around the valley.
The weather that day was very cloudy as you can see, which definitely compromised the real colors on this pictures. As I got home I realized how dull it was but since the scene it self was so beautiful I decided to learn some basics in PS to try to save it. It kinda worked for the grass and sky, but the church colors were dramatically different from the original ones.

Would apprecitae your thoughts and tips on how to better pre-process this one to improve the colors.

I think you did a nice job by not taking the adjustments to far. I would have really liked to see a panoramic image of the city it looks like a really pretty city. Have you considered cloning out the construction equipment in the background? I think a picture in the same location during a sunrise or sunset could get a better quality of light. Since the sky is overcast the colors are dull and muted which I like particularly in this image it screams that it's about to rain. Have you ever considered taking pictures in the rain?

Murtasma,
Thanks for the comments.
The city is indeed very pretty and full of contrasts between ancient and modern constructions. There are a couple of more pictures here (http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=16439&l=0dc2e&id=561013808) (dont mind the low resolution...didnt have time to properly upload them yet).
As I took this and some other shots there I always tried to hide all the cranes that seem to be so popular there now, but in this case there was not much I could do.
I didnīt think about cloning it out because my skills in PS are somewhere between "none" and "barelly useful" but Iīll keep that in mind on my next learning effort.
If I remember right it has just rained when I took that shot, which I was actually happy about, because I had just had a rain drop on my lens, which took me a long time to get rid of before I was back in action. I guess the "about to rain" feel was also improved by the post processing.
I donīt particularly enjoy taking pictures in the rain because of the fear of getting the camera wet (besides uncomfortable feel of being wet my self, but thatīs not a major problem :D). If you have some tips on how to protect the camera (I could use a plastic bag but that doesnt seem really practical) I would be glad do hear them.

They sell rain coats for cameras that can fit just about any lens you can think of they are cheep as well 20 bucks or so. Get a lens hood to help keep the rain off the front element in the lens. Easy to use just slap it on. I always keep one in my camera bag just in case it rains when I'm out.
