Hi all,

Took this image for the "Nifty Fifty Challenge (http://digital-photography-school.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13631&page=2)" thread. I then duplicated the layer and adjusted the blend mode until I came up with this. I'd like to ask whether it could be called 'high key' or not? If not why not and what other term could it come under.... (apart from 'bright'!)?

Many thanks in advance.

I think high key would be a reasonable description; presuming this (http://www.flickr.com/photos/21389112@N05/2324338779/in/photostream/) is the original, the edited one certainly "pops" much more.

Hi, wulf,

Thanks for the reply, fella. That is the original, yes, and this one definitely pops more! :D
