For your SAFFE critique, please! Here is a photo of my two year old Labradoodle doing his very best imitation of a snowplow! Looking for a general critique on composition

Composition wise I would crop in just a tiny bit. I feel like there is so much action with the dog digging in the snow that the empty space on the right kinda seems odd. Anyways I would process it a little different as well. I think this should would look really good as a lomo type shot and a little bit of vignetting.

Subjectively, I don't think it reads quickly enough. It's difficult to get a sense of orientation with the dog, because you can't see the eyes.
Compositionally, I think it's strong, good application of a rule of thirds philosophy, and the vivid blue sky accents the white snow and almost-white dog quite well.
It seems lacking in ultimate sharpness, which might have something to do with the f/3.5 you used. In that situation I'd probably be shooting at least f/5.6, if not smaller. The background will still be blurred because of the close focus point and wide angle, but the subject itself will be sharper. You probably could've kept a quick shutter speed as well by kicking the ISO up a little bit.

OK-lomo is new to me, but I did try to do a bit of research on it. Generally accomplished through a good editing programlike Photoshop? I don't have Photoshop but attempted to make the picture a bit more 'playful'.

Did a quick edit for you. would have been better if I had a bigger sized image to edit. the second image you did looks more like a chalk drawing effect. I dont think it works as well for this image. hope you like the edit i did tho.

The first one by far is the best. Altho cropping it down a bit would help. Too much snow to the front of the dog loses the focal point.
