Ok, granted, they aren't going to protect your lens from a fall like the real ones, but if you want a lens hood to prevent lens flare, etc, then this is a cheap (free) solution. The site has designs available for most of the major brands (Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Olympus, Sigma, Tamron, and Tokina). I haven't actually used them, but just thought I'd point people here to the site in case anyone is interested :)
