When i took it I thought the geometry and texture would tell its own story. Is there something blocking this impression?

To be honest, not hugely exciting as it stands. If you want more detailed critique, we can move it to the critique section.

However, I do see potential for parts of it (and perhaps also the whole thing) making handy overlays to put grungy textures on other images.

I do this often, See something and think wow that would make an awsome photo, and then get it home and it doesnt. Wulf was right on this one tho, if you ar do use the grunge effect this would make a great overlay

I like photos like this. Abstract, geometrical and full of texture. I agree with Wulf in that you should move it to the critique section for some real feed back.
