View Full Version : fz8 and raynox 250
Do I need to buy a Lens adapter for the raynox 250 for my fz8 or is the universal snap on adapter that comes with the raynox 250 enough?
Do you know what size the end of your lens is? The Raynox adaptor fits a range of sizes. There are certainly people using the camera with the adaptor to good effect on Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=raynox&cm=panasonic%2Fdmc-fz8).

Your FZ8's adapter is made to accept a 52mm lens. Since the Raynox 250 comes with a universal adapter that will screw into a 52mm lens, you won't need to buy anything else.

i have an fz8 and the raynox, it fits perfect with the snap on adapter just mind tho that u will have to use the 52mm extension tube type adapter that was suppled with the camera so it has something to connect to :).
I had to buy a 52mm to 43mm (i think) step down ring later tho after a little accident which left my raynox adapter a little broken :(

How long did yours last? My first one lasted about six months (and I got a lot of use out of it); I bought a replacement adapter but haven't got round to using it much (partly because I now also have a dedicated macro lens... although the Raynox is still brilliant for travelling light).

um it would have lasted quite a long time i think, i had it for about 2 months before i erm.. stood on my fz8 while it was attached lol. My own fault, i placed it on the stairs while i was rushing about to get something and forgot i put it there lol.
do you set your camera settings to conversion close up lens when using the raynox or do you leave it as it is?
