I took this photo with my cell phone, so I don't have any exif info for it. The bird decided to mooch some bait from us by landing on our engine. I've enhanced the photo a bit with contrast and brightness, do you think it would make a better photo if I cropped to just the bird? any other suggestions are welcomed. And thank you for taking the time to read this.

Maybe crop it down to put the pelicans eye at the thirds intersection?

I think the crop idea is right but maybe keep in the the seagulls flying in the picture. Otherwise I think it's great given it's a phone camera. Well done.

I really like that crop job, thank you. I'll need to practice up on that rule of thirds, instead of always centering my subjects. I may fiddle with it later on tonight to try keeping the gulls in.
