Hi everybody,
this is one I took today, I used a Pentax *istD S with a 100mm macro lens. It's was my first try working with RAW format, wondering if anybody can point me in any directions as far as that goes. Any suggestions to improve it? Thanks!

Hi and welcome. I am not sure what you have gained by working with this image in RAW. The lighting appears to be indirect and not providing much contrast. Consequently the shadow areas have gone a bit too dark, losing most detail. It may look much better in a glossy print but on my monitor it needs a bumo in contrast. The left side of the image appears to be a little sharper than the right side so cropping may also add some to the image impact.
