Here is a wedding photo that I spent some time working on:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/23043459@N06/2261214559/" title="Wedding B by Tyler E, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2232/2261214559_1c85e77d4f.jpg" width="500" height="340" alt="Wedding B" /></a>

Post processing:
- cropped
- levels
- grayscale (30% red, 59% green, 11% blue)
- contrast reduction on values over 220 (using a contrast mask)
- sepia coloured (162 red, 128 green, 101 blue)
- sepia mask (copy of step 4 with curve points of 0,0; 127,127; 255,0)

And here is the original:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/23043459@N06/2261214891/" title="Wedding A by Tyler E, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2255/2261214891_77d7e33ccc_t.jpg" width="100" height="75" alt="Wedding A" /></a>

What do you think?

EXIF:
Canon PS A310
Shutter Speed: 1/500 sec
Aperture f/5.6
Exposure: -1/3
ISO: 400 (back then I thought the higher the ISO, the better)
Focal Length: 5.00 mm

It looks like a really nice sepia conversion... only I think with the setting that it's in, it would like nice with a fairly bold black and white rather than the softer tones of the sepia. But nice job!

Nice work. The sepia works really well with the older GTO that they're standing in front of.

The bride's dress turned out a little too white for the rest of the image, but a wedding is, so I've been told, for the bride, so I guess it work out.

Ok, I guess I should have read the rules again before posting... "what do you think" isn't really a valid question.

What would you have done? More sepia, less sepia, different cropping, etc.

It is a beautiful shot. I think that having that white dress stand out works well as your eyes are always drawn back to the focal point .. the couple. Could we see the shot in black and white??

Very well done :)

Here's a copy of the B&W. I redid it from the start, so it's a little darker (more detailed, IMO).

very nice conversion with this image.....yes, the dress is fairly blown but not so that it's completely without detail.....

the placement of the couple could have been improved in a perfect world......but, i know there are other guests and photographers to contend with and this can't be helped......

all in all, a nice image.....
