Hi,
I am looking for any type of feedback on this picture – composition, technical settings, etc. I have just started taking pictures again after about 25 years, so I am trying to get me knowledge back up to speed and also get a handle on these digital camera’s – which I love!!

The bushes seem a little dark and I was wondering if that was due using the shutter priority setting and having the speed to fast and not enough f-stop??

This is my first posting, so I hope I got the size right and all that stuff – let me know.

Thanks for all your help!!

I hope you don't mind, I sharpen the shot and and used nthe hue map to change the colors a bit. also lighten. I think if you zoomed out more on the crop you would have a much sharper shot.

thanks for sharing.....

i believe that your problem with underexposure of this image comes from your camera reading for the bight areas of your water......you said that you cropped this down so i am assuming there was an even larger expanse of bright whites there......you can alter how your camera reads the scene to spot metering and read off the main subject next time......

using an image hosting site will enable to you post your images directly from there......i use flickr and for casual use, the free account works like a charm...
