Hi-
This picture seems to have some interesting possibilities. I've experimented with cropping & playing with the saturation to bring out the leaves. I'm posting the original that my wife likes because of the 'camo' effect. Would love feedback. Thanks in advance!

Hi Gbird:
Forum rules ask you to post too EXIF data too so member can use it to critique your photo. One issue you have with this picture is focus. The eye of this little fella is a little bit out of focus and that make it less appealing and harder to find the main subject. Other problem is that you have more than 1 subject. The leafs and the reptile. As you said earlier, your wife like the camo effect but the leafs just throw off that idea IMHO. When I think about camouflage, is a some surface with the subject blend in it. Even you have kind of camouflage effect in this scene, the leafs and the blown out light at the top left, makes some noise. It would be nice that in the section "Before and after" you post your work (as you mentioned before) to see how you post processed it to make it more interesting. I definitely think that if you did not have the leafs there, you would have a better photo. Those are just my thoughts.
Thanks for sharing it, and hope to see more of your work!

Hi Gbird:
EXIF data is info that it's stored with your image and shows the specs of the photo, like the Camera you used, focal distance, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, Exposure etc.
You can read more about EXIF data HERE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exif).
About your post processing shot, I like it more.
The saturation added is great.
Good job!

better framing in the re-edit....and the whites are much improved......but, i think it would be fun toying with the color and saturation of the lizard too...do you have any edits where you did?..
thanks for sharing
