It always says to have a specific question, but I never do. I just want to know what people think, what they think would make it better and what they do like about it. This was shot at an old abandoned Hospital in St. John's, Newfoundland. I think it gives a sense of decay in the flourish of nature (kinda shootin' **** here now) anyway happy critiquing!

That's a cool shot. I like it. Do you have more from the same place?

It would be better if there was an actual subject in the picture. And maybe you should try tweaking the contrast a little bit. Nice capture though.

The subject is the window.....and what would I have to adjust with the contrast? a little elaboration please :)

I like this shot a lot. Shooting old buildings and creating abstract images is a favorite theme of mine. I like exploring the colors and textures that you can find in old buildings.

The colors, composition and sharpness are all very nice in this shot. Very well done!

Hi Sid:
I like the textures on this photo. They are very appealing. What I found is that there is a fight for the subject title. Both plant and windows try to stand out. I think that if you could take the photo a little further away, it would have more of your subject (window, as you said) in the frame.
In post processing I think adding a little vignetting will add drama to it.
Nice shot and thanks for sharing it!

Sid,

I like the photo...particularly the textures, color, focus and composition. I don't have any questions either. Oh...one more thing: I like that you took an element of a larger thing (whole building) and focused upon that for your composition. I was just studying that approach in Kelby's books this morning and plan to do more of it myself. Good work Sid!!

I love the textures but I have no idea (from the photo) what you want me to look at, so my eyes are going everywhere. You need somewhere for the eye to rest.
