AF 400T flash on K10D

Has anyone used a AF 400T flash on a K10D camera. Any help with camera and flash setting would be greatly appreciated. I have used Pentax cameras and lensed for over 30 years as a stringer for newspapers and the AP so I have many lenses and other Pentax pieces that fit. I have used the flash along with a Vivitar 283 but it takes many test shots to get it right.......
