as shot, had the colour saturation turned up to get the blue to the sky. is it too much?

The new guidelines ask that you limit your thread to one photo, 600 pixels longest side, you know that part. You can choose one, link to the other, or a moderator may choose for you. Check the guidelines, there are differences.

If the bird is actually a whiter shade, you still have some room to get a little more light there (especially the underbelly) and a good blue sky too. It looks really good bigger, with only the smallest wish for space on left between tail and frame.
