I was playing with my camera the other day and I took few shots where 2 subjects were in one frame. The shots were taken in a large DOF, however when I downloaded the images to my computer I discovered that the focus has slightly focussed on one subject over the other, just slightly!
My question is, if I was shooting 2 faces in one frame how would I ensure they both get equal focus attention from the camera, especially when shooting at a large DOF?
I suppose locking focus wont help because u'd have more than one object to focus on??
I know this might sound dumb to alot of you but am still learning, thanks :)

bingo,
As we are all learning. I'm waiting to see the answer to this too. Just wanted you to know not asking is the only real foolishness.

Ok, so I found the website I was looking for that offers a good starting point for this. Obviously using a small aperture (large f/#) is the best way to get things in focus. This tutorial at DigitalDarrell (http://www.digitaldarrell.com/Article-UnderstandingDOFandShutterAperture.asp) gives a good explanation of how the aperture effects a picture of people at different distances. But you may already understand all that. So...
Another website (see question 3 on the page) (http://www.betterphoto.com/snapshots/archive.asp?snapNumber=267) I was reading made the suggestion to focus on the first person's eyes by pressing the button half way, then move the camera recompose the shot between the two people.
So, basically, you don't have to use a tiny aperture to get both people in focus, but you have to make sure your focus is in the right spot, and it's really helpful if both people are standing the same distance away from the camera if you want them to both be in focus.
Hope that makes a start at explaining this a bit?
