if you're offering this for critique, it's best to include some background on the image.....
you've probably seen a lot said about the exif data....and that's basically the camera settings you used at the time of the session.....
also helpful for your case is to share what it is that you set out to do.....what you thought you ended up with and what issues, if any, you might need some feedback on....
if you have the time, go back and edit your post to reflect all of that information and i would be happy to critique this image for you
thanks

Yes I did put this up for critique, as the title said I'm experimenting with composition.

I like the composition, with the juxtaposing of the girl and the wal art. Is there a relationship of some kind between the art on the wall and the girl, or is just there as a spatial element?
You have a fairly hard light coming from camera left -- the shadow cast by the girl's head is very sharp and angular. What is your light source? I like the effect, especially with the separation the wall spot gives. It does create some very deep shadows on your models face, which may be something to think about.
Could just be the size that the photo shows at here, but the model's features look just a little bit soft. I don't think this is a shot where the DOF characteristics of 1.8 are important -- if it could be done without affecting the composition (kind of depends on your lighting setup I guess), I might have tried to stop down a bit to ensure that i had more margin for error on focus.

Is there a deliberate contrast between the girl and the flowers and the picture? It would be helpful to know what you consciously included in your experiment and what you were aiming for.
