Why I took it: I thought it was funny to have a stone fence with a wood swining door like it like this. I thought to myself if this was a property you wanted to protect how come your wall is so small? It felt like an inviting place to me somewhere familair

Post Processing: I tried to simulate a photograph with some color bleeding and vinetteing around the edges to bring more focus toward the wall that caught my attention.

I don't have many landscape shots that I didn't use HDR with so unfortantly I can't post many in the landscape section but this one I was quiet happy with.

Hi Murtasma:
I like what you try to achieve in this photo. Seems a gorgeous place to be. The vignetting you did and the color blending helps adding mood to the scene you want to project and helps getting attention on the main subject, in this case the stone wall. What I think here is that I don't know the color blend went to far (I would need to see the original file) or it's a bit under exposed your stone wall. Maybe a little bit of dodging or maybe tweak a little bit your levels will give you a more clear and viewable subject. Ohh other thing that came to my mind, maybe you want to let the wooden door being more noticeable.
Nice photo and thanks for sharing it!

beautiful post work on this image.....it has a moody quality, almost as if it were a set to a movie about wood nymphs or something....(don't laugh)...

taken in that light, this image works wonderfully......but, as far as telling the story you originally intended, i agree that the gate should have more prominence in its exposure......

really nice work......

The whole right side of the image has always troubled me I should have spent more time on the fence :( I'll see if I can find the original image somewhere. I can always take this photography again perhaps now that there are no leaves it could have a diffrent feel to it :)
