I wanted to show you one or two pictures of my school, as I've done it a bit of project with me and fellow photographers in the school to take pictures, and try to capture it somehow. My school is the artistic school in Iceland (for 16-20 yrs kids) and thus we try to do our best to show it in a good light (the building itself is quite.... grayish... and box.....ish.)

I did post a version of this one which was colored a bit reddish (which I have hanging in my room since I love the way it looks) and you can check it out here (http://flickr.com/photos/ariels_eyes/2060809939/).
Another one I shot was interior.

Hi Arķel. Your posting brought back memories of when I lived in Iceland for a year. The weather can be a challenge for photography, particularly the wind, but I loved the rugged countryside and color of the cities. 8-) Your shots present an extreme range of contrast ratios. Have you experimented with the high dynamic range technique to bring them under control? Where is your school located? I look forward to seeing more of your images from Iceland. Hafšu žaš gott

Please read the RULES for the critique forum and follow them. It makes alot less work for everyone and helps us critique your shot better by only focusing on the one shot.
You can link to your other shots if you like.

Woops sorry, I'm only allowed one pic per post, I thought that was only in "share your shots". I'll edit.

The school looks like a neat building, but that white sky is very distracting. Personally I would crop it off at least down to the first roof, then I would try to do something to darken it to at least a soft grey color. Once it isn't so bright, the viewer could focus on the interesting architecture of the school. A tripod and longer exposures would also help with focus and better skies.
I love photos of Iceland, so I can't wait to see more of your work!

i think the sky is a very interesting part of the picture, i know its not "technically" right but i like how its sort of eating away at the building, but i dont really know what you are trying to portray

Well what I'm trying to show is that in the rain, they still play, and enjoy, in front of this school of ours. I realise it may mean more to me than anyone out there since it is MY school, the school of my dreams since I was young and my brother went there to study alongside his piano studies, the place where I came back to after a long and harsh journy through Asia, only to find on the first day the love of my life, the place where people like me who have felt different and odd since childhood find their home, but I try to show this in the picture. Maybe I didn't quite catch it, I think it's a bit of a challenge, but I'll continue to try.
