Default The Swan Thread - Feel free to post yours!

I went to a natural history photography talk the other day, and he recommended practising taking shots of swans as they are easy to find, and present a challenge being such a light colour. So I went and fed the swans at our local pond.

Everyone seems to take shots of swans, so show me your best!

Here's one I took today of a Mute Swan cygnet - more swan shots to follow :

Very nice..... the droplets of water are a great addition.... instant life!

I would love to have been at that lecture; what else did you learn?

I like the close up perspective and the water drop.

Here is one I took at the zoo a couple of weeks ago.

Junglebear & Angelb, those are nice shots too.

Swans are not common in near me but I think they are regal birds. I remember from a childhood encounter with "MotherGoose", they can pinch really hard & take their time letting go!
