Default A Pic A Day is over...

I broke the rules and used the D4, 400 f/2.8, 2xtc for this one...

    Nice capture!

So... what are the rules? Do you have to stay with one camera or one focal length for each day's picture?

Well that didn't last long! Just when I was looking forward to each day's shot
Great catch by the way! And anyway rules are made to be broken.

The rules were D800 with no size reduction/special processing to take advantage of the MP's and the 28-300 f/3.5-5.6 only... Basically it's as close to a "basic kit setup" as I can get. The goal was a quality picture every day that I didn't already have in my portfolio.

I made it almost two weeks with only a couple crap images. And I've not given up trying to find something interesting/new every day. But it was an unrealistic challenge....

Great image. Now that you have THAT out of your system, go on back to the original plan. You were on a roll with it.
