Default Animal Shelter Shoot

A continuance on a thread I started in General Chat. Read Off to the animal shelter if you want the backstory lol.

I photoshopped all the leashes out, while having to pixel build pieces of their collars and things back together. There's also a couple of shots where I removed whole people. The shot from underneath Sam where you can see the sky was photoshopped too. It was around 11am, and there was just no way I was balancing for the dog and the sky lol.

Sam - A great dog, he's very obedient and loving. I walked up towards him, and one of the volunteers said "Careful, it takes him awhile to get used to new people" And then he just pressed right up against my legs and wouldn't leave my side for like 10 minutes lol.

Bernard - This guy was Full of energy. He wouldn't sit still at all. He wouldn't sit, lay, or do anything except run around in circles and look at us like we were crazy whenever we tried to get him to do anything lol. Eventually I just got what I could of him, and we had to move on. He's a fun dog though

This is JoJo - She's a great girl, and a very loving dog. Doesn't do well around other dogs, but she's definitely a people person. Very well behaved too.

I may post a few more pics tomorrow after the 24 hour waiting period lol, but if you wanna see the others you can just visit the link below.

Thank you! Me too. Some of them have been there for a couple of years. Unfortunately they're just passed that age where people want to adopt them. But, on a good note, they have very caring foster families that enjoy having them.

Yeah, they're beautiful dogs And thank you. She's very friendly. She was adopted once, but she's full of energy when she's around older dogs and they were hurting themselves trying to keep up with her, so they had to bring her back. If I didn't have days or weeks at a time where I was gone from home, I'd definitely adopt her.

Good shots and an even better cause. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Tito

Realization when reviewing photos after shoot: Black and white mixed dogs require a lot more PP...

Very nice, David! Looks like JoJo has a healthy dose of field stock Lab in her; which would account for her high activity level. Looks like a bit of pit in her, too, in the face and in the body.

I envy your ability to get nice pictures of dogs. I'm green... <--see?
