Hi All,I'm struggling with this one ,I didn't like it at-all.However my daughter said it was a good shot.now I'm questing it my self.
first of all I tried to crop the photo so that the ducks created two triangles of the frame, with the trees creating some natural framing of the ducks.it was exposed as a silhouette so to be different i added some noise/grain and changed the color. (1) does the shot work at all,or should i have deleted it (2) does the post seem to you to take away, should i have left it in B&W?or color...blue sky, green trees.I'm really looking for some opinions as to if the shot is too boring? to me it's too plain/ drab thanks in advance Clyde Camera: Nikon D90 Exposure: 1/4000 sec Aperture: f/5.0 Focal Length: 150 mm ISO Speed: 200 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Flash: No Flash

I'm on the line with this one. The symentrics are there with the birds forming in a diagnol across the frame and with how each one has thier wings spread in a different manner.
I do wish the foilage wasnt there as it seems to be in competition with the birds. as far as the processing, not crazy about it. A simple black and white I think would do this more justice

Thank you,Windrider86. sometimes i can't critique my own shots, and need new perspective. family members aren't objective enough for me to trust,If you know what I mean.
