I'm a newbie to DPS and to digital photography in general. I have learned so much already from reading everyone's comments on other photos (and I've even offered some comments of my own, for what they're worth!). One thing I'm learning is that I take what I think is a great photo, but really, it turns out to have major problems that I haven't yet learned to "see" (i.e. white balance is off, over/under exposed, too little depth of field, etc.).

I see one error in this photo: a black line on the right side of the screen that I need to remove in photoshop. I'm looking beyond that for now because i really don't want to spend the time photoshopping a photo if it's not as good as I think it is.

What I'd love to hear from you is a gut reaction to the question, "Do you think this photo looks as good as I think it looks? How is the exposure and the white balance?"

flash exposure reduced to 1 full stop
exposure bias increase half a step

The size of your photo is a bit too small for a meaningful critique. Could you re-post it, in a larger size?

thanks for your comment! I just had someone explain to me yesterday how to do this. I haven't gone through and made the changes yet, but I will today.
