Here is another shot I took of my puppy. I was wanting some feedback on the overall quality of the shot. What I should change if anything?





Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/1.8
Focal Length: 50 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

The first thing I noticed was the bottom left corner being blown out - very distracting. I think you could have bumped up your shutter speed to 1/80 sec. or even 1/100 sec. (or dropped your ISO to 100, or used a slightly smaller aperture) to avoid blowing out the whites.

Other than that, I like the shot. Nice job!

how noticeable is the slight darkening in that area? I am brand new to elements 8 so Im not even sure how to fix that much whiteness.
