The light on your bird's face and the catchlight in its eye is top notch. Very sharp, too.
I'm not sure about the cage, though. At times I think it gives a good context to the photo. At other times I think it's too busy and clutters the photo. Maybe others can chime in? I would suggest cropping out the left side, just left of the bird's feet (and maybe off the top a bit if you need to keep your ration?). To me, that dark area is dead space that detracts from the colors in the rest of the photo. Good work.
