Default First shot with new D90....critique please

This was my first shot taken with my new D90 on Christmas morning. Looking for some comments here. This was shot in RAW with no PP yet. Is there anything I should look to do in PP to enhance it any?
Thanks

Just moved your shot over to the critique area (since SYS isn't the appropriate place to ask for critique). Also added the EXIF to your photo per the critique rules. Thanks!

I love the shot, beautiful dog (s/he almost looks sad that Christmas is over.) You might look into a tighter crop, I think it might improve the shot with a little bit of a crop off the top and right sides. I'm not sure that the empty wall on the top and empty floor on the bottom right add anything to the photo, so that's why I think a bit of a crop is in order.

I wish I could get my dog to pose for me like that. This is a wonderful image, and really doesn't need much PP. If anything I would consider taking out the tv and stand ( or is it a picture frame?) on the upper left portion of the image. My eye kept trying to figure out what it was. Congratulations on the new gear, I look forward to seeing more.
