I shot this photo last year when I still had my Canon Rebel XSi. The lens used was my 50mm f/1.8.

This is my ex-girlfriends dog so I don't get to see her anymore. To this day it is still one of my favorite pictures and I just wanted to share it. Any c & c is welcomed, thank you...

I really like this shot! If I were to pick something I didn't like about it, it would be the large light source behind the dog. My eye travels to that first and then to the face of the dog. Roxie's face needs to be lit just a little more so that it's the face I see first and those beautiful eyes. Perhaps a reflector or a little fill flash. Just my 2 cents worth; I'm a beginner as well so just take my comments with a grain of salt!
