I started my 52 project today.

I am trying to photograph wildlife.

Since it was a bit chilly today we decided to take the kids to the zoo.

I am still trying to figure out the whole ISO, Aperture, Shutter speed thing.

I think I had the ISO too high.

I didn't want to use a flash because of the glass that was in front of this little guy.

What do you think?

ISO: 1600
Exposure: 1/160 sec
Aperture: 4.5
Focal Length: 78mm
Flash Used: No

Looks nice and sharp. You'd never know there was glass there. All I might suggest is a little processing to adjust the white balance as it looks pretty yellow.

Glass ? What glass

Very neat shot I like how the background is not completely blurred out gives the image some "depth" if that's the work

Yeah, the white balance was set for a cloudy day and these were under either flourescent or incandescent light.

I am still trying to figure out all of the bells and whistles on my D60. Maybe one day I will go full manual.

Thanks for the kinds words. I will work on the post processing.

The question was do I have the ISO too high or could I have lowered it and produced a better shot?
