Default Bath Time for Chewie

Hello!

I'm new to the forums and new to the digital SLR scene too. I recently bought a Nikon D80 (up until then I shot with my dad's old Canon SLR from the 60's) so I'm learning a lot!

I'd love some feedback on this shot.

Bath Time for Chewie!

EXIF:
Nikon D80 with Nikkor 50 1.8 lens
0.025 sec (1/40)
f/3.2
50 mm
1600
No flash! I hate using flash! :)

A few tweaks to bring out the details in the puppy as well as a tighter crop.

I actually think that the framing is good as it is. I like the fact that you can see the curve of the bath - it makes the poor little guy's position very clear.

I would like to see a little more contrast to bring out the soggy tufts of fur, but overall I think it is a really effective shot.

Yeah poor thing! She was quite stinky she needed a bath I was always under the impression that dogs like the water...not Chewie.
