Can anyone tell me how I can get more of Mom and nestlings in clearer focus?

Focal Length: 400 mm
ISO Speed: 1250
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

Like the shot. Looks like you're working at the limit of a lens, so get closer if you can. Dropping the ISO might reduce any noise you see in the full size shot, I don't see any focus problem at this size. Might not need that fast a shutter as birds aren't moving very fast when landing - that could give you room to play with aperture
