Camera: Nikon D90
Exposure: 0.006 sec (1/160) Aperture: f/5.6 Focal Length: 400 mm ISO Speed: 800 Flash: No Flash I caught this big boy early morning the other day. I would like feedback on this photo. Does the blur in the background take away from the photo? I know the ISO is quite high and I need a faster shutter speed to match my focal length, but with these animals you have to take what you get. Most of the time without a tripod. Let me know what you think. ![]() Flickr: gag24's Photostream |

Thanks for the imput...I thought the same thing about the foreground buck. I tried to crop but that just made it a little more blurry. It would be nice to have an oppurtunity with a tripod for stability. I like pics that have the object doing something different. I caught this pic of a smaller Buck his pose is a little more interesting.

I agree that it would be nice to see that buck without the younger one in front of him but that is one big buck!
The second one is pretty interesting but I think it wanted to be composed slightly different getting the head of the buck out of center a bit. |
