A calm moment

I was trying to get a new shot of our youngest dog. She is quite hyper, and doesn't like to pose for the camera. This was a rare moment for her.

I entered this in my camera clubs competition, and the judges said that the left side should be croped out. I happen to like it this way.

What are your thoughts.

I'd have to agree with the judges. Too much empty space for me.

I will also have to agree with the judges, though this pic too cute to be adjudged harshly but the empty left side is too prominent and somehow its overpowering the delight of watching the right side.
