Default Butterfly at the Splash Pad.

I took this shot over the summer while my girls were playing in the water at the local Splash Pad. I love it & I seem to be the only one who does. Thought I would see what you guys thought. Any comments are welcomed.

Took the shot in auto & macro mode.

I really like the texture of the concrete, but in my opinion, its a little dark, maybe you could do something to brighten the colors of the butterfly. I'm a beginner tho and dont know much about the post processing, maybe someone else could help with that.

Not a bad start, there are 2 things I am seeing though. One is the way the left wing is blocking the view of the body makes it a bit distracting. The other is that I think the focus is starting to drop off at the wing and I think it would be best to have it sharp.

Couldnt have said it better myself. I do like the lighting on the concrete though. if the butterfly were fully focused, it would be a nice contrast.

well....ya others above kinda already said what i was thinking, i think the biggest thing for me is that not the whole butterfly is in focus and at this angle it seems as though it would be best to have the whole thing in focus

Now I see that the butterfly is out of focus and it does take away from it.
Thanks guys for the feedback. I appreciate it.

This photo could have been way better......guess you've realised it now....its way out of focus from the main subject.
