Default My Lucky Shot : a Flying Hornbill

Got lucky one day, I managed to took this shot at my home backyard... I was using 70-300mm lens, however I did some cropping to it just to make it more presentable. I would be glad to have some comments from you all. Thanks.

Do you have the settings your camera was on when you took this photo? Exif information is imperative to have when offering you technical advice on your photo

The shot really dosent seem to have any depth to me. I prefer shots where the bird is angling toards the camera.. or is at a bit of a different angle.

i dont know, its a shot of a bird lol, maybe back off on the crop a little and move the bird out of the EXACT center of the picture, also i would try to sharpen it up a bit for sure, it looks either a little soft or out of focus.

Very pretty bird.

The blacks don't seem to have any detail, unfortunately. Was the shot a bit underexposed in camera, or did you play with the levels in post?

It's hard to tell about the focus with just the thumbnail.

Birds in flight are tough, and you weren't off by much.
