Our Dog, Dixie

Here is a photo I took this afternoon of our family dog, Dixie. She is about 9 months old and is part Australian Shepherd and part Border Collie. She doesn't sit still long enough for me to snap a photo so this is a rare occasion.

Well, the photo I took of Dixie looked fine on the lcd screen of the camera but when I uploaded it it was a little more fuzzy than I would have liked it to be. Especially around her nose area. I think I had the camera set to center focus and focused on her eyes so maybe that is why the nose is fuzzy. Any comments or tips would be welcome.

To me, it appears like the focus is more on the left ear(my left) than anything. I think a smaller aperature to help with DOF, and focusing on the eyes would help a bit, even if the nose is still out of focus.
