Hi Guys, thank you so much for your advice, I have done what you recommended and here is the result, what do you think of the results?
I cropped the picture a little to get rid of some of the neck area and I dodged a the eyes and the tongue:

That looks yummi

Mmm Yummi-PP

Than you for the comment, I really like the outcome!

Anyone else has a comment on how to improve the picture and/or the outcome after doing some PP?
All the comments are more than welcome
Thanks

I really prefer the processed version. I think the little details stand out much more in that version without losing the low key look that you were going for. And it really fits in the frame nicely.

your edit really made it pop and turn into a great image, when i saw the first one i was going to say i think add just a very small bit of brightness but with the emphasis increased on the eyes and tongue i think its a great shot now good job

If I had taken this shot I would have centred it and included its ears - and that is why I like your shot!!

The PP version is even better, as I was thinking just those changes - especially the tongue highlight

Great job.

Your PP work is excellent, it's lifted what was otherwise a very dark image.

It's pp work like this that has me hesitating on the reject button these days, it's amazing what can be saved with some pp.

Thank you CaptainNH for your comment!!
I actually try to do a less PP as possible, most of my pics are SOOC, but sometimes a picture needs that little extra to improve and I believe this is a good example of that.

Happy Holidays!
Peter.
