Default Horse framed by trees

I got this one of my horse during the evening. Should I crop some of the ground off of the bottom? Also, is the annoying telephone pole distracting? Any other critiques welcome as well

The telephone pole is distracting for sure. The shot would be more interesting if the horse were closer and better lighted. With he sun coming in from the left additional frontal lighting would have improved the shot. Having said all that, I still like the photo and the subject.

The telephone pole is a bit distracting. As said, it would be better if the horse was to fill more of the frame. The lighting does not bother me, as long as you were intending for more of a silhouette look however be sure to really watch the surrounding objects in the frame. Good concept, keep it up.
