Default Favorite Shot

On a recent Alaskan cruise I shot about 400 photos but this was my favorite of all of them. Please let me know what you think... good or bad.

What type of lens were you using?

I think this is a great shot but if you could have gotten closer in on the whales tail it would have been phenomenal.
