Question Dragonfly picture!

I was wondering what you thought of the color and if you think the crop looks nice? Is the background distracting? Any other comments are excepted as well

Hi there, maybe crop this, err vertically? to focus on the subject...

i find the background interesting, what it is?

I think this is a very cool photo. As said just before me, maybe a crop in portrait orientation? Perhaps cropping the left side to just of the grass and leave a bit of room on the right of the dragonfly?

I like the background, too (which I assume is water).

Maybe try brighten the photo a bit? While it's fine as is, I wonder what it would look like if it you could brighten it by about a stop?
