Default Chaos & Haven

I'm fairly new to the DSLR world, I used to do some 35mm/darkroom stuff years ago. Then for the longest time I just took point and shoot snapshots. I just recently stepped it up a bit and went with a D60 and CS4.

This one is of two of my girlfriend's dogs. I'm amazed I was able to get them to lay next to each other for more than just a couple of seconds. I did a bit of PS adjustments also.

Is there anything in particular you are wanting us to critique? Composition? Color? Settings??

Good job getting them to sit still long enough Nice color in this. Would be better if you were down on the level of the dogs vs. taking the shot over head.

I'm looking for anything I'm not seeing or that I can do better. I'm also wanting to know anything I've done right.

I agree a lower perspective here would have been nice and different. I would also try and remove the darkness at the corners of the frame especially the right side.
