Default hawk

Hi
I visited my local hawk centre yesterday to try my luck at snapping the hawks, i have never tried this before so had a little read up on the subject. i read it is best to have your focus setting on al serevo which i did. i took quite a few shots but am a little dissapointed with my results as they all come out a little soft. i realised after i only had the center AF point active and am wondering if it is better to have all points active, can you help? this was the best one.Any tips would be most welcome. many thanks Dan
