Default Working on WB with my new camera

I was playing around with my camera settings since the other day all of my photos were way too orange... I followed the dogs out to the backyard and snapped this photo of my Frenchie on each standard WB setting in my camera. I then played with the slight adjustments within each one and this is the one I selected as the best. I am wanting to know how her whiteness turned out- I used the histogram within Lightroom to make sure nothing was blown. Also, how is the sharpness and clarity of her eyes? I did boost the brightness of them a tad but the color is natural. I was not worried about composition but is the railing of the deck disracting? Any other comments are appreciated!

The color looks good on my monitor. They eyes look sharp with nice color too. The railing doesn't bother me.

My only other comment is that she is extremely cute.

Thank you! I am trying to focus a lot more on the way I am editing... I think I was over doing it to the point where something looked way off. Hopefully I have a more natural look going on now

Hi WG,

like your pics..

I'm surprised you are not shooting RAW - that would avoid the need to choose WB in camera and give you much more latitude to adjust everything in LR or PSE later.

The dog is cute, maybe a little more DOF to get the ears in focus too?? The eyes look nice and sharp - might be worth trying to selectively sharpen them even more to make those highlights really pop - or perhaps that would just be overdoing it...
