![]() I am submitting this as my first post. Taken with a Nikon D80 with a 50mm f1.4 lens, AP f/2.5m iso 720, no flash, minimal post work in photoshop cs5.1. Any suggestions? I was looking for help with composition, sharpness, and the reason my d80 keeps doing auto iso when I shut it off in menu... Last edited by TessaDunc; 01-30-2012 at 11:10 PM. Pretty nice shot overall. Only suggestion I might make would be to back up just a smidge to leave a little more air around the pup. He looks a bit squeezed in the frame. A bit more open space to the right might be nice too ... it's that idea of giving the subject a little space to look into.
Still a very cute shot.

Thanks for posting but more info is needed. Heres the link to the critique sections rules/guidelines and if you'd be so kind as to read them and then edit your post with missing info, we'd be very appreciative!

Are you sure you are actually setting Auto ISO to off? Just selecting off won't do, you have to also select OK to set it.
There is a nice feel to this one. Were it mine, I'd town down some of the highlights a bit and get rid of the red yeast stains around the eyes. |
