Six Point Deer

Hi All,
my main concern about this picture is the placement of the dear in the crop. Also, because of the similar color of the dear and background is the picture too dull. I really like it but I was there at the time. I would appreciate any other critiques.

It doesn't look like your focus was on the deer... Almost looks like the branches to the left are more in focus to me

I think that with the colours being what they are you're always going to struggle to make the deer really stand out in this situation. I still like it as a photo, deer never seem to do what you want so you've got to get what you can!

What focus mode were you using? Like Weird girl said the focus looks to be off a bit, to me it looks like the grass just in front of the deer is more in focus.

Yes the focus is off -- too bad ... I like the echoing of the colors but not fond of the tilt ...
