![]() 080 by clackedy, on Flickr Sony A55 50 - 200 mm zoom lense. F/13 Exposure 1/160 ISO 100 Focal length 55mm I am really happy with the overall feel of this picture. I guess I would like some pointers on how I could have made the shot "technically" better. Composition tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Hi there. I like this shot too. If I were to make any suggestions it would be to play around with the brightness and contrast. There is so much "light" color that it almost makes the shot look too bight. I would probably bring down the brightness a bit to darken the sky the bring the contrast up some to bring the birds back out. You might want to use a faster shutter when shooting birds, it captures the wings better, and will bring the brightness down also. The one bird toward the bottom is flapping so fast, he almost looks out of focus. Your Depth of field @ f/13 is perfect for this shot. Play around as above and see what you think. Keep up the good work.
